Great! It is easy and fun to use. does wonder to help with the stick handling techniques. It is a easy training tool for all ages of hockey players. The many configurations capable and sturdy heavy plastic construction make it easy to do inside the home or outside in the driveway
I thought I had already written a review but I'm glad the company asked me again. This is probably the most important off, even on, ice tool that I've gotten. I got it for my son and was recommended to me by his coach. I was asking what I can do to help him as a beginning player and was looking at this and a shooting pad. My son's coach said that in any level, stick handling is important, it doesn't matter how fast you can skate if you can't get the puck where you need it.This helps because it forces you to have a set plain where you have to loose contact with the puck and reaquire it. It's not stick handling when you're just rolling the puck, or in this case the ball around, mimicking action. You need a hard line to basically break contact with the puck and anticipate it's trajectory. The app it comes with also makes it fun and less monotonous. Specially with the ability to change angles. Definitely worth it!!
App is great, great way to motivate kids. However, I found the spacing between sections a little too small, and my 9 year old simply brought a roller puck through a section and it hit the plastic blue piece that joins the sections and it shattered. Poor quality materials. I'd expect that to happen if it was hit with great force.
