I started taking this particular multivitamin because my doctor recommended them. I don't just trust any doctor though. I believe most of them are "pill pushers". The doctor I see is an MD/ND. Because of his naturopathic background, I have more trust in recommendations from his office, especially when they tell me that I don't have to buy it from them. They do sell it, but it's not any more expensive than it is on Amazon, so I don't feel they recommended it to make money. I feel it was recommended because it was in my best interest.I was told one of the reasons they favored this particular one is that it has a good amount of a lot of trace minerals, and is one of the more complete multivitamins out there, with nutrient amounts that are actually useful. Many multivitamins advertise that they have a variety of nutrients, but do not contain high enough doses of each, while this one does.I've been struggling with some chronic conditions - asthma, allergies, weak adrenals, etc. I definitely feel that my energy levels have improved in the few months that I've been adding this vitamin into my regimen. It's not the only thing that I've changed, but I do think it's been helpful.
I have searched for a multivitamin that supports the methylation pathways. This is one of the only multivitamins that includes folate and not the toxic folic acid. It also includes the more bioavailable forms of the B complex vitamins in amounts that support optimal methylation pathways. I also liked this form as it includes the critical minerals iodine and selenium that most vitamins don't include. It also uniquely provides minerals in more bioavailable forms. They are odorless and tasteless which is a bonus! I have now put my whole family on these vitamins and recommend them regularly to others looking for similar high quality multivitamin.
I have an autoimmune disease and this was recommended by my ND. I'm still in remission!
