This helmet is very comfortable and seems as durable as most other helmets. The cage doesn't obstruct vision too bad but is still strong enough to protect from errant sticks and pucks. I learned the hard way. You're not getting paid to play, protect you face and teeth by always wearing a full face shield or cage!!!Buyer beware. Most hockey helmets are adjustable. In some cases I prefer a size medium with the adjustment opened up quite a bit. With this helmet I preferred a large with the adjustment closed up. I feel it's nearly impossible to fit a helmet without trying them on first. Be sure you know your size and fit before ordering because it absolutely changes not only from brand to brand but even style to style within the same brand.
