FOX 40 SUPER FORCE GLOVEGRIP COACH’S WHISTLE

★★★★☆ As whistles go...this is a great. It is bold and loud for any coach or ref. The bad is that the wrist strap that comes with the whistle is not long enough to wrap around the hockey glock wrist area. I purchased some velcro and made it longer...for the price you would think they could make it longer.

★★☆☆☆ I have been a hockey coach for almost 2 decades, so I am very experienced. The metal whistle come detached from the elastic Velcro band. This is the second one I have purchased, lost the first one so I replaced it, that one had the same problem. Because the can suddenly whistle detach, I have to wrap some black electricians tape where it attaches to the band so it will not slip out. Very poor design.

★☆☆☆☆ The whistle fell off the second mite practice. It was difficult to slide back into the slots. Then it would not stay in the slots. Ended up losing the whistle part all together. Seemed heavy duty, whistle was very large. Flabbergasted it fell apart at mite practice. Bought a cheaper smaller one and it is working fine.
