I was taking an Alive men's multivitamin for years and its nutrition facts compared similarly to the Thorne Research Elite multivitamins. I was recommended to try these vitamins from a group of people through a men's blog and holy smokes do I feel the difference! These are the real deal! Although they're very expensive for a month's supply, they are worth every penny. With the AM vitamins I feel better, have WAY more energy throughout the day, and my mind has been so much sharper (which is critical working in the administrative law profession); and I mean it's very noticeable. With the PM vitamins I've been sleeping much better and when I wake up in the morning I feel so much more rested than I'm used to.Simply amazing! You will not regret this purchase, I will be a customer for life.
My lab tests came back that I was deficient or borderline deficient in 9 different vitamins and minerals. So I figured I best get a quality multi-vitamin. I have taken vitamins from the retail vitamin stores but I was still deficient. So this time, I thought I would look for a more higher quality vitamin supplement. Thorne seems to be a name that keeps coming up of being high quality and one that holistic doctors, medical doctors etc recommend. I have just been on these for 3 days and I do feel so much better. I am extremely focused when I am working on the computer all day, not nearly so fatigued and just have a general overall well being that is much better. I look forward to seeing the effects of these after a month. I am definately going to be reordering when I run out of this. I like the fact as well, I have only two bottles of vitamins. Take 3 tablets from each bottle in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. When you are so deficient in so many things, taking a whole handful of pills a couple of times a day was not exactly exciting to think about. I am sure glad I found this type and this brand and how they are put together in this just two bottles.
While I haven't had much sadness, I'm not yet sure if this multi is preventing my occasional sadness. I have otherwise not really experienced any notable energy from the am multi's. I haven't noticed much sleepiness from the pm multi's. In fact, the am multi's seem to make me a little bit sleepy. I was really excited to try these after finishing my.. (probably) 5th or 6th bottle of my Garden of Life Vitamin Code Men's multi's. I thought, great! I can take these in the morning before working out and then the others at night, brilliant! But they really don't seem to help me, whereas Garden of Life's Vitamin Code Men's is by far the best supplement I've ever discovered. I can take 2 or 3 of those GoL (Garden of Life) multi's and quickly start eliminating a headache. I'm a rather athletic 25 yo programmer. I'm really skinny, not much body fat. Maybe the green tea phytosomes screw with me because I don't have much fat to be burning. Either way, I would recommend Garden of Life's Vitamin Code multi-vitamins over these. The key differences: No AM/PM difference for GoL. (Be conscious about when you eat and when you take them, since the b-vitamins are actually quite stimulating, unlike the thorne AM formula.). GoL Vitamin Code has a great dose of CoQ10, and Glutathione+SOD (SOD pairs well with Glutathione). GoL also contains probiotics. Also, GoL Vitamin Code multi's pair well with their Raw Calcium/Grow Bone Cal/Mag supplement. No matter who you are, strong bones are great.Misc: Magnesium is like the 2nd best supplement I've ever used. Nighttime recovery tea from paleoethics is awesome source of magnesium, as is thorne's RecoveryPro, but I'm not sure about thorne's because chocolate contains caffeine, rather strange to use that for a bedtime recovery supp. PaleoEthics contains zinc, RecoveryPro contains GABA, and RecoveryPro uses casein instead of the (very quickly absorbing) hydrolyzed protein.Note: I'm almost through my whole bottle of the thorne multi's. This is not a short sited observation.

This is a very good product in my opinion. It is well worth the money spent. I had a medical doctor, who also practiced a lot of natural healing techniques, turn me on to Thorne brand. This was many years ago. I feel balanced when taking Thorne. A few times I have run out and tried other less expensive, but still fairly reputable brands, and I have always gone back to Thorne. When I take Thorne I don't have cravings for things. This tells me I am getting proper vitamins and minerals. I would recommend. It helps me feel good overall. They are always consistent in their product. I am a satisfied customer.
These have been my favorite multi-vitamin so far, in that they are not super smelly, and not too big. I notice a gross taste with burping if I take these on an empty stomach, but otherwise, no issues. This brand was recommended to me by my personal trainer.
Recommended by my Dr for nutrient deficient issues relating to PCOS. I'm feeling much better.

These are excellent prenatals. I began taking these in preparation of TTC after I was diagnosed w/ MTHFR. I feel great and I know I'm getting all of my vital nutrients. My doctor suggested taking these for 3 full months before TTC and on the 4th month I conceived. I know my baby is getting the best possible prenatal available. I don't mind taking 3 per day; it's worth it.
I started taking these a few months before I wanted to get pregnant and I loved them. But I never understood why it had 7000% the recommended daily value of b12. I didn't think it was a big deal because b12 is water soluble and your body supposedly gets rid of whatever you don't need. That is until I read articles about how pregnant women with levels of both folate and b12 that are too high can increase likelihood of autism in babies. I went to my ob/gyn and got my b12 levels checked to see where I was at after being on this vitamin for a few months. My B12 levels were high and above the threshold that was indicated in the study as problematic. So I switched to a vitamin that has folate and other forms of methylated B vitamins but lower levels of b12. I'd love to learn why Thorne puts so much B12 in their vitamin - I'm sure there's a reason. But unfortunately, it was too much for me.
I have the MTHFR mutations and am planning to get pregnant again. Used Thorne's prenatal with my last pregnancy. Never has made me nauseous as long as I take after I've eaten. My midwife was very impressed that I knew about methylated folates and the benefits over folic acid. Even if you don't know your MTHFR status, look into folates vs folic acid. Your body will thank you!!
