i recently started taking this product to improve my energy levels for the most part. i'm 42, exercise often, eat well, but always feel like im lacking energy especially before my workouts. i'm not sure how tru niagen exactly works but i can tell you that i've noticed a real difference in my energy levels. i sleep better and therefore more rested during the day. i'm not sure if it's related or not, but i've also been feeling much happier and just overall in better mood. i don't take any other vitamins or pills so this was the only change in my daily diet and routine.i did some basic research and everything points to this being a real thing. this company seems to have all of the scientific research and community behind it.
Didn't notice much of anything at first, but after a few months my blood pressure is lower and my cholestrol is down. The only change i made in my life was TruNiagen (3 capsules/daily.)
I don't know if this is my imagination or what but I really feel like my memory is sharper and I am more myself, like I used to be. I am taking it everyh day.

I'm rating the actual product rather than the seller. The seller did a great job getting it to me no complaints. Now, this was a good test in the sense I was able to determine where I stood on the deficiency/adequacy scale. Now it's claims as a supplement I am really skeptical. My test result put me somewhere around maybe moderately deficient n have been supplementing with the regular 1 tsp. So far it tastes the same since when I first tried it n I am yet to taste the instant bitter taste (indicating no deficiency). I'll keep at it till the bottle is empty but I'm almost half way through it (doesn't last long at all) already n yet to see results. I will update with my results once I'm done with the bottle.EDIT: Within just a week of my review I think I might have finally reached adequate zinc levels (took me a while so if it tastes like water when you try it buy another bottle. chances are you need 2 to get your levels to adequate). I tasted the bitter taste and felt sick like wanted to throw up and couldn't taste anything sweet for another 20 minutes or so. Pheew what a relief! But now I am almost done with the bottle. Checking at prices I got it a little under $17 and now the price is around $27 wow what a jump. I might have to look at other websites to get this again.
Because zinc is an antiviral, I used some on a cotton ball to see if it would get rid of my daughter's wart. After only 4 applications, her wart was gone. I told a few other people about this and they had similar results. Most recently I used it on a HUGE wart on the face of a 103 year old, applying only once a week via cottonball which I held on her wart for about a minute and small pieces of it turned black and fell off until it was completely gone. I have also used this to ward off sore throats and cold sores. Amazing suff!
This zinc assay test is many times very reliable i believe, because when i did the test, i did not feel an unpleasant taste at all, meaning using the 4 scoring system, i was midly deficient, since the taste was not like water itself but it had a little sweet taste. When you are zinc saturated, the taste is very unpleasant, when zinc sufficient or very slightly deficient the taste is unpleasant, when zinc mild deficient the taste is neutral almost or some taste that is not tasteless but not unpleasant or sweet, when very zinc deficient the taste is tasteless water. The blood test came closer to the lower limit of the blood reference range, which in many science papers means slight deficiency quite often with dramatic results happening by bumping zinc in serum a bit for some people. This to me means that this test is quite good. If you google it, many papers show the serum zinc correlates well with this taste test. In pregnancy, the taste changes when mom gets low on zinc and that's when you need to bump zinc up to ensure the best brain development. People low on zinc can even die in their 20s, zinc is very important to 3000 transcription factors and 300 enzymes, DNA repair, and synthesis, etc.

This is a fantastic product! I will definitely be making regular purchases of it! Because of the thyroid disease that I have, I suffer from a severe lack of B vitamins. I have tried many others including injections, but this is definitely a keeper! And a lot cheaper than weekly injections!
I take metformin for pre-diabetes. With diet and exercise, I hope to be able to come off of it. But what I noticed after several months of being on it is extreme fatigue. Prior to that, I had been working out twice per day without a problem. Then, I started to feel extremely tired and almost ready to give up on the twice per day workouts. I sweat a lot when I work out so at first I thought that maybe I was a little low in potassium. I tried supplementing potassium and that helped a little but not enough. I got online and I did some research and discovered that for some people, metformin depletes vitamin B12 in their bodies. The research said that it usually takes longer for you to become completely depleted than several months but I decided to supplement with vitamin B12 anyway to see what would happen. I've had other vitamin deficiencies before (including vitamin D deficiency and iron deficency). My doctor said that I wasn't deficient in vitamin D but within weeks of beginning supplementation, a whole host of maladies started clearing up for me. Muscle aches. Joint pain. Depression. Within months, the improvements continued. My hair begin to get thicker when before it had become very thin - and I had attributed that to a thyroid condition but it was the vitamin D. So just because a doctor or research says that it takes several years for vitamin B12 to be depleted by metformin doesn't necessarily mean that this is true for everyone. If you're somebody who maybe doesn't eat right all the time or just started to eat healthy after years of not eating healthy or, like me, you've worked very stressful jobs for years and years, it's possible that you already had mild deficiency to begin with. Maybe several months on metformin can be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back and takes you all the way to complete depletion. I noticed that Zhou nutrition's hair and nail supplement contained a lot of vitamin B 12 so since I like that supplement , I decided to reorder it and I started taking it faithfully twice per day ( which is the recommended dosage). Within a few days, my energy came back up a little. I was able to get through my second workout but still grudgingly. I was having the back down on my speed and intensity. But then I learned about the methyl B12 and how it was a better and more accessible form of vitamin B12. I've been on it about three weeks now I think. The first week or two that I took it, I didn't notice much difference. Then, when I started doing a lot of work in my yard this spring like digging holes (which takes a lot of energy), planting flowers, trees, and shrubs, pulling weeds, using a push mower on hilly surfaces, and pushing heavy wheelbarrows, etc, etc. I started to see that I was able to power through it even with the two workouts that I'm already doing per day. It really sank in how far I've come yesterday when I was able to get off work and go and help my dad plant azaleas and still come home and do my second workout without a problem. The effects are subtle at first but if you continue to take it, after a couple weeks you will start to notice some more stamina that maybe you didn't have before. I attribute to the methyl B12 because I have not introduced anything else new to my supplementation regimen.
So far so good!!! I have tried other methlylated b12 and if anything felt more tired and blechy taking them. I definitely feel a boost or energy taking these. No more sluggish mornings!!!!Very pleasantly surprised and would purchase again...
