★★★★★ i had intrstinal bypass surgery 40 years ago, which resulted in extreme Osteoarthritis. I have both knees and hips replaced and began having shoulder problems and pain from stenosis. Epidural steroid injections were my only option, since overuse of Naproxen resulted in Stage 3 kidney damage. i take one capsule each morning and night to keep the levels steady in my system. Within 2 weeks, I realized my shoulders were less painful. I feel no need to schedule an epidural steroid. I still have some pain, but it is tolerable.Now for another benefit. i did not get a flu shot this year, and came down with a sore throat a few days ago. I do have the flu, and was waiting for the horrible body aches that come when I have a fever. My temp began to rise last night, but has stopped at 99.9 and no body aches! ★★★★★ I've been taking this for about 4 months along with a few other supplements aimed at improving overall cardiovascular health. I started because, despite working out regularly and being an endurance cyclist, my body was throwing off some 'warning' signals that were concerning. My cardiologist also wanted to start me on another med, and at that point I decided that I needed to start taking matters more into my hands after reading some of the side effects that I'd get from my new prescription.What the studies say PQQ does:PQQ is another essential micronutrient that is depleted by Statins (I also take Lipitor). PQQ is similar to CoQ10 in that it also protects mitochondria against damage and dysfunction, but PQQ is reported as the only known compound to be able to be able to create new mitochondria. While CRP is a measure of overall bodily inflammation, the American Heart Association directly uses CRP to determine the risk of someone developing heart disease.My impressions of Relentless Improvement PQQ:Seems to be a good price point for the amount of PQQ per capsule. Capsules are quite small. I consider it one of the most unique of the supplements that I take. It's reddish pink, and it somewhat dies the cotton balls that color. When I handle the capsules, it coats the tips my fingers a bit with the compound and creates a unique feeling - almost slippery, but not quite. Since I've been taking this (along with CoQ10, a few Aminos and things like Beet Root) I've noticed a marked improvement in my overall health, energy and well being. These changes have also enabled me (with my Dr's blessing) to not only not take a new med but to also get off another one I was taking (I'm still taking the Lipitor, though). Based on these positive results, I plan to continue taking this for the foreseeable future, and I've come to trust this brand. I haven't tried PQQ from anyone else at the time of this review, so I can't really compare it to other PQQ brands, but I also don't see any reason to switch / try another either.
