Hockey WrapAround, Off Ice Hockey Stick Protector, Hockey Training and Practice Aid

★★★★★ This is one of the most beneficial products for outdoor hockey; I'm more comfortable using higher quality sticks on the street. The added weight on the stick isn't very noticeable after some practice but can be a factor after 2-3hrs (I don't imagine the average player does drills as long as that).I own 2 WrapArounds Black Ice, one of which has lasted over 3 months on asphalt and could last 3 more. Lots of stick handling, shooting, toe drags, on and off skates. Gets used 5hrs+ per week.I can give firsthand accounts that it fits True hockey TC3, Warrior-Yakupov and Bauer-Kane88 perfectly. However, curves with a small toe are trickier to tape i.e. Bauer-Toews14I tape heel-to-toe to cover the entire blade (some guys are minimalists).Highly recommend

★★★★★ I love how this lets me use my expensive ice hockey stick on the street to practice stickhandling and shooting. It is much better for stickhandling and pretty good for shooting. I would recommend getting some 3M double sided tape to keep the ICE wrap around in place. Doing this lets you tape the blade horizontally, and it keeps tape off the pavement which will slow you down until it wears away.

He is outside every fricking day with this thing on his stupid expensive stick and not a tiny little scratch on it thanks to the thing without even taping it into place.Good fit, good quality, and delivered promptly.I recommend and will be buying again.

★★★★☆ I am 6' 1" and got this to help me with my soccer game as keeper. This really helped my lateral movement and it built up my ankle and knee stability. I highly recommend the slideboard workout, however; and this is important. THIS BOARD IS ONLY 5' LONG and IF YOU ARE TALL YOU WILL OUTGROW IT!! If you are a hockey player or a speed skater you may already need a larger size. It took me a while to get the hang of the motion, but within a few weeks I was wishing for a larger size.A month ago I got a 10' adjustable board from a hockey supply website that can adjust from 10' down to just a few inches. I am much happier with this one, and it only cost an extra $50.So if you're a smaller person or getting one for a child, this one will work for you. If you're bigger, definitely get a larger size, preferably adjustable.

★★★★★ Nobody likes to buy something and have an issue with a defective product. The clear plastic rails cracked fairly quickly after my 5th day of use, so I went to obsidianslideboards.com and called their customer service number. I talked to an employee who thanked me for reaching out to them first instead of writing a negative response about their product on Amazon. the company apologized for the inconvenience and sent out a new pair of rails with priority shipping. They also wanted me to know that they cared about me as a customer and sent me a free DVD of my choice to make up for the few days that i couldn't use the board. I was very happy with how I was treated and I will definitely buy a larger board once i graduate from the 5 foot length. I recently had knee surgery and I have had so much pain trying almost anything else. THIS IS THE BEST EXERCISE PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT WITH ANYONE WITH KNEE PAIN, OR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GET BACK INTO SHAPE AFTER A LONG BREAK FROM REALITY.

★★★★★ What a great work out.I'm really excited about this new workout, it's actually fun and because it's fun it's motivating. It feels like I'm using muscles that I have never really tapped into bedore. As for the quality of the board, i believe it is really good. When I unroll it, I roll it in the opposite direction and it lays flat inmediately. I have not had any issues with the end stop like I have read in other reviews, plus when I bought my board the listing said "New and improved end stops", so I'm sure they are fine. The DVDs are not HD so on my big HDTV they don't look the best but they were a good intro to begin using the board. Also I've been using the board for about 3 or 4 months now and I have noticed that it has become slicker as I use it wich is great because I'm getting better at it and now I can glide back and forth at a faster pace. I give it 5 stars.

★★★★★  My enemy is an incredibly dynamic training tool you can use off the ice to improve your hands and your hand coordination in lots of different ways. What is so unique about this product is that it is adaptable. You can put it in any shape you want to walk on various different skills while you are off the ice pretty much everywhere where you like to practice. In terms of the ways it has been constructed it has a series of joints or pivet points. And that is what makes it so dynamic and allows you to move around so freely. This is what separates these conserve training aids from fixed training aids.This thing is so compact and incredibly light. It’s a kind of training aid that can travel with you.

★★★★★ I thought I had already written a review but I'm glad the company asked me again.This is probably the most important off, even on, ice tool that I've gotten. I got it for my son and was recommended to me by his coach. I was asking what I can do to help him as a beginning player and was looking at this and a shooting pad. My son's coach said that in any level, stick handling is important, it doesn't matter how fast you can skate if you can't get the puck where you need it.This helps because it forces you to have a set plain where you have to loose contact with the puck and reaquire it. It's not stick handling when you're just rolling the puck, or in this case the ball around, mimicking action. You need a hard line to basically break contact with the puck and anticipate it's trajectory.The app it comes with also makes it fun and less monotonous. Specially with the ability to change angles. Definitely worth it!!

★★★☆☆ Does the job, but it's not very durable at all and slides all over the place on tile/concrete. You have to be flawless or you'll be moving it back into place at every mistake. The video I saw showed a player standing on it without breaking. If you stand on this version, it will crack. The app is a bit glitchy, but it works for the most part. Good for working on eye/hand coordination by not looking at the puck/ball because you're staring at the screen. I purchased this because it's adjustable and you can move it into zig zags, straight lines, or U shape. For that purpose alone, it's worth picking up. 3 stars for durability and being too light.
