Any hockey player can build a training space to stickhandling, shoot, pass on as big or small they need to be. You can start with small area and slowly expand and build on it as time goes on.
I was not a big fan I think for younger kids who just start they would be great but for older kids in high school who have a really hard shot and shoot a lot the board wore out and I have used them for a bout a month and already have chipped the bored so the puck will hit the chip sometimes and isn't smooth anymore
Exactly as advertised. Flooring tiles that mimic the smoothness of an ice rink. Of course it's not the same thing and I don't think you'd want adults or anyone but children take slapshots on this flooring. But it's really designed for practicing stick handling and it does that beautifully. Paired with a puck return device it also lets anyone practice their passing accuracy. It'll cost a bit to cover enough space to get really good practice in but if you're serious about getting better at hockey this is a wonderful tool.

What I personally believe is the future of hockey training will be in apps because they allow you to do things that we never could do before. Product that I’ve been looking for is My puzzle systems from Hockey Revolution. Now as a training aid in its own its fantastic in making you move the puck with the board in the directions or positions, or angles that you were not really used to do, it forces you to do things that might put you out of your comfortable zone while you stick-handling on your own.But hands down the best feature about Hockey Revolution products - is the app that it comes with. The app allows you to create incredibly dynamic workout that don’t just involve stick-handling left and right, you can also set up conditioning workouts that are completely different to what I normally do at home. So if you are performing training exercises a little bit slower the next time you go at it you can increase your speed and push yourself a little bit harder. Its a fantastic way to keep yourself motivated when you are training on your own which is one of the best features about it.The set up of My puzzle systems consists of the dryland tiles with the passer attached to either end. Now unusually the dryland tiles all are not just ice white, but they are in different colors: red, green, yellow. The idea behind this is to follow the instructions the app gives you and move the puck with the board in the directions the numbers or the colors that ask you to move them in. That means you have to listen what the app is saying or what will be more challenging is to turn the sound off, look and do what app is asking you to do!
For what it is, it works good. Quality of the surface is great and pucks or biscuits seem to slide easy from watching my kids. I just want to make sure others are aware, there is no interaction between the game surface and the app. They say there is interaction which is kind of vague statement. When I purchased this, it was my understanding the board somehow communicated with the app, (ie bluetooth, camera or something) to record the players progress but it does not.To be clear, you can record your progress but the app has no idea if your doing the drills correctly or accurately. Look at it more as like a push up or sit up app. You have to manually put in how well you did which for kids is kind of hard and they end up not even using this app feature. For example, this is not like SuperDeker which interacts with the puck movements and tells the player if they went to requested spot correctly. Like I said it works great for a trainer but it more for those who can push themselves, which is fine, but for my 9 year who loves to chase a carrot with beating high scores just did not have the features to get him excited to get him to do extra practice. Maybe when he matures more.
Overall, I’m really pleased with the product. My son uses it every nightfor about 5-15 of practice time and after 3 or 4 weeks of using it, it has the Saturday morning coaches askinghow he’s gotten better so quickly. His skating skills are a workin progress, but he now receives passes and catches the puck all the time, and his stick handling is already improved by a lot.
