Shock Doctor Men’s Core Hockey Pant with Bio-Flex Cup, Large

★★★★★ I bought these for my daughter who is 5'2 and 125lbs. We swapped out the shock doctor mens cup with her pelvic protector from her old Bauer hockey pant.The reason we bought the shock doctor Men's hockey pant is because of our disappointment with the Bauer woman's hockey pant (ripped/tears around velcro area, very thin pant) we purchased last season and the fact that shock doctor discontinued the women's hockey pant last year.So far after 4 months of use the shock doctor pants have held up great especially around the velcro area where there's a lot of use.My daughter is very happy with them.

★☆☆☆☆ This is another one of my reviews where I liked the original but this one feels much cheaper.I had this same hockey pant before (same model) and have used it and washed it twice a week for about 2 years. It was starting to fall apart (which I didn't have a problem with because I used it a lot) so I ordered a new one. Before my second game I noticed a tear in the seam with the waist band. So after one game and one washing (always in cold water on normal cycle with a bit of detergent) the thing has already started to fall apart. Now I'm going to have to find a better brand - if there is one!Edit: So this morning after posting the above review I decided to email Shock Doctor Customer Service and with just one email telling them of my problem they are sending me a free replacement. I'll update this review again when it arrives and let you know how it looks.

★★★★★ Fits great. Very comfy. I'm 150lbs, 5'10", and these things fit better than all my other non-hockey leggings. Based on other reviews, I expected the cup to be very awkward and uncomfortable. It covers my junk and doesn't pinch my balls when I sit, so I'm happy. It's a cup, so some weirdness when sitting is to be expected. Honestly it's hardly noticeable at all. I was pleasantly surprised. I would recommend this to the guys I scrimmage with.
